Hi! We’re the owners of Intimate.Wine, specializing in private wine tastings, wine classes, and chef-prepared dinners – all thoughtfully paired with exceptional Italian wines. We are based in heart of Tuscany in Greve in Chianti – between Florence and Siena. We bring over 39 years of combined experience in hospitality, tourism, and wine. Our passion for sharing authentic Tuscan flavours and traditions inspired us to create a more personal, immersive way to experience Chianti.

Massimiliano (Massi) Nava
Born and raised in the heart of Chianti, wine has always been more than just a passion – it’s a way of life. As a Certified Sommelier and natural host, I’ve been immersed in the world of wine since 2008, working across different roles to deepen my expertise and appreciation for the craft.
For me, wine isn’t just about what’s in the glass – it’s about connection, culture, and great conversation. I like to embrace the spirit of la dolce vita – the art of slowing down, savoring the moment, and enjoying life’s simple pleasures. Whether you’re an enthusiast or just starting your wine journey, I aim to create a fun, relaxed, and engaging wine experience.

I’ve been in the tourism industry since 2001, driven by a passion for connecting people with authentic local experiences—whether it’s food, wine, art, or culture. My career has taken me across multiple countries, but Italy stole my heart. With deep ancestral roots here, I felt an undeniable pull to fully embrace its way of life – the warmth, the traditions, and, of course, the wine! For me, travel is about the people you meet and the stories you take home.
I truly believe the best way to experience a place is through its flavors, its artisans, and its hidden corners. That’s why I always encourage travelers to go beyond the guidebooks, embrace local experiences, and, naturally, never miss an opportunity for a great wine tasting!
