We felt like celebrities because many of them are friends with Massi and treated us with so much hospitality. Massi has a long career in wine and taught us so much, it was wonderful. The whole experience was very intimate. The experience felt like hanging out with a good friend for 5 hours, eating great Tuscan food, drinking great Tuscan wine, and walking away a Chianti wine expert (jk). Highly recommend!  Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My husband and I spent a wonderful day last week with Massimiliano touring the Chianti Classico area just north of Siena where we were staying for a few days.
Massi took us to two boutique wineries: Nittardi and Podere Poggio Scalette.  We tasted a selection of their fine wines and enjoyed hearing about the history of both wineries, the growing of the vines, and their processes of winemaking.
In between the winery visits, we had a delicious lunch at Osteria Le Panzanelle in Lucarelli.  The views of the Chianti landscape during the drive were beautiful and Massi was a wonderful, knowledgeable guide. We highly recommend Intimate.Wine for private wine tours.

As a single mom with a teen daughter navigating Europe for the first time, I was grateful to have a safe option that was recommended by a travel agent I trust. We were picked up by Massi at our hotel, and we instantly felt safe and comfortable with him. We had a great conversation during our drive, and learned a lot about Italian life and customs. The winery tour was intimate and cozy with one other small group, and the wine was fantastic! Then we went for a lovely authentic Italian lunch in a beautiful small town. At a recent trip to Greve in Chianti, Tuscany, we experienced a lovely wine tasting with our host Massi, a sommelier at Intimate Wine winery. Massi presented three Chianti Wines - Classico, Classico Riserva and Classico Gran Selezione, and described the different sensations on the palate of each type. It was a fun and informative wine tasting, and I definitely recommend enjoying this experience with Massi!
